Blue Ridge Forensic Services was originally founded in 2003 to provide a multitude of services primarily for small and medium size agencies. These departments make up over 90% of the law enforcement agencies in the United States and are often over looked by state and national legislatures, companies, government and professional organizations. There is little information available to assist personnel and agencies either revamping or during the initial setup of a forensic operation.

BRFS offers information and assistance in several areas. Those include Agency Forensic Setup & Operation, Crime Scene Kits & Equipment, Educational Courses and Agency Assessments & Consulting. One of the first goals was to offer these services at realistic pricing as compared to most of the big name companies that are burdened with huge overhead cost, which is important in today's economy.

In the future, the company may provide CD's containing information on generic SOP's, Forensic Forms, Checklist and other relevant materials all at nominal cost. Hopefully, the information in this site will provide some the assistance many agencies need.
