DNA Evidence:
DNA Basic Identification and Recovery Techniques is designed to deal specifically with DNA processing, identification and recovery techniques. There can be
limited hands on exercises, depending on the number of students and location restrictions. Typically this is a one-day course with no limit on number of students.
Fingerprint Processing:
Basic Fingerprint Development is three-day course that is designed specifically for basic latent fingerprint development and involves considerable hands on processing
exercises (Maximum 20 students). Topics in this course include: history, types of fingerprints, ten prints, major case prints, types of powders, Mikrosil and much more.
Sexual Assault:
Sexual Assault Crime Scene Processing is two-day course is designed specifically to deal with sexual assault scenes. There will be considerable hands on exercises,
mock crime scenes and limited lecture (Maximum 20 students). This is a fast paced course and students should have some prior experience with their cameras and crime
scene processing.
Effective Forensic Units:
Establishing Effective Forensic Units for Small and Medium Size Agencies is three-day workshop that will teach students how to begin creating an effective small and
medium-sized agency forensic unit. It will describe in detail the nine major areas of the process and the necessary steps involved.
Crime Scene Processing: Basic & Advanced:
Forensics and the Patrol Supervisor is one-day course is designed to assist and orient new patrol supervisors, students preparing for a supervisory position or as a
refresher for veteran supervisors on the Forensic, personnel, public and press scrutiny issues they will face on a daily basis.
Basic Crime Scene Processing is three-day course that can be customized where the very basics are covered or a five-day course, which will cover techniques as well
as the basic topics. Both classes include processing and class presentation of mock scenes and team results. (Maximum 20 students)
Forensic Updates and Refresher is a four to eight hour course is designed primarily for academies, institutes, law enforcement agencies, etc. Topics are designed to
update and refresh the students on current forensic techniques, developments, laboratory requirements, etc.
